WOmed X-ray therapy systems presents the entire spectrum of superficial X-ray therapy (SXRT) and conventional Orthovoltage X-ray therapy.
The WOmed T-105 is designed for superficial X-ray therapy in a range from 10 to 100 kV and consists of a mobile trolley with mounted X-ray stand arm.
The WOmed T-200 can be used in superficial, intermediate and deep radiotherapy, in the voltage range from 20 to 200 kV, and fulfils the latest clinical requirements.
All WOmed X-ray therapy systems, supporting the setup of up to 20 different radiation qualities combined using the high-voltage and tube current parameters as well as additional filtration.
With the choice of up to 14 different applicators, all essential clinical requirements can be covered.
The RadControl-II Verification- and Record-System, which is designed for the application of X-ray therapy, combines an intuitive user interface with the necessary tools for treatment planning. The system can be operated stand-alone or integrated into existing patient information systems (OIS/RIS) via DICOM interfaces.
For many superficial and benign diseases, treatment with conventional X-ray therapy is much more cost efficient than alternative radiotherapy technology and shows similar medical benefits.
