WOmed ioRT-50 is intended to use for superficial and intraoperative x-ray therapy. By using a transmission target tube design this electronic Brachytherapiesystem allows treatments very close to the target volume.
Today our WOmed ioRT-50 allows superficial treatments (skin) with small target volumes in areas which are difficulty to reach as well as interoperative partial breast treatments. Further eBT-applications are under investigation.
